On my regular troll through eBay, I saw this, anyone tempted?
I do however need to do something about my current manky looking spoiler if anyone has any suggestions?

I hope you are not being serious. If so, I think Mods need to consider a permanent ban on SM. I will let them decide if a public flogging at a Maserati meet should be considered as additional punishment. On my regular troll through eBay, I saw this, anyone tempted?

Unless the carbon is actually damaged, could you not just prep it and give it a fresh coat of clear?Don’t worry, was tongue in cheek! Although imagine turning up at a meet with that, it would be funny just to see the reactions.
I have the standard carbon one, but it looks tatty. I might wrap it (just the spoiler), I did think about getting the smaller lip ones, but the current spoiler has spoiled the paintwork a bit, so I can not reduce the size really without then doing paintwork.

I thought not, but I just had a look and that might just work! Another job on the list…Unless the carbon is actually damaged, could you not just prep it and give it a fresh coat of clear?

I did this with some of the carbon on mine. The lacquer had become pitted, let in water, looked crappy. Sanded and with a few new coats of lacquer and the parts look as good as gold again.Unless the carbon is actually damaged, could you not just prep it and give it a fresh coat of clear?

Seconded. Also, added the tiniest drops of black to tint the lacquer ever so slightly. Now the carbon - mine has the full pack - mirrors, front splitter, door handles, rear spoiler - looks really deep and you can make the weave out properly.I did this was some of the carbon on mine. The lacquer had become potted, letting water, looked crappy. Sanded and with a few new coats of lacquer and they look as good as gold again.
