I've just found out today that my mate (Bob) who recently purchased a well specced F type V8S cab, hated it so much he's just taken a bath and part exed it against a 9 month old R8 V10 spider. He said he couldn't tell when it was going to snap out as the handling and suspension felt too 'soggy'. Apparently, too much power for a compromised chassis.

The dealer loaned me a V6S convertible for the weekend a few weeks ago, it was quite wet and I got the back end out very easily, so I can see how the V8 would be a handful.I loved it and can't wait for mine to arrive.Still haven't decided on the wheels though :ohh:

What ever you go for make sure they are black...have to be........you're having a red car aren't you...So looking forward to seeing you car...Saw a black one on the road the other day..Bloody stunning but still think red or white looks best..

I'm still waiting for my local dealer to contact me. They still haven't yet got their coupe demonstrator in. I can't wait to drive this car.

Hadley Green garage, my local dealer, have just called. They've got their demonstrator in. A V8 as it happens. I was hoping to try out a V6. The salesman said that their drop head demo car is a V6 and so I should drive both.

How could I refuse? I'll pop along in the next couple of weeks or so.

My dealer has a red V6S coupe available to drive and a black V8 in the showroom, I went for a look but didn't drive it as I think it will be nice to drive mine first. The V6S also had the pano roof and looked great so I'm happy with my choice.
I eventually made my mind up on the wheels so got a set of these, along with some other carbon bits.
I don't think I've ever handled Carbon Fibre, it sure is light, the cardboard box weighs more than the wing mirror covers.
