We are leaving soon, staying in a hotel and will try & get to Shelsley Walsh for around 8 8-30.

See you tomorrow, folks. Oh, and drive carefully - particularly on the hill. Especially if it's going to be wet.

I can bring my helmet along but I am concerned I might get tempted to sign the SZ up for an afternoon run up the hill

Guys on the stand keep an eye out for a Berlinetta (probably spelt that wrong) joining us about 10 am :)

You'll stand a shot of getting car of the show award then, one of the organisers likes Alfa's.... especially if you do the hill ;)

Doubt it, she once shocked us by stating that she had a little Beetle, followed by the statement that it runs standing quarters at Santa Pod in under 9 secs - turns out it is a Beetle based dragster running a supercharged or Turbo'd 2.4 Porsche engine

Fantastic day, marred by the rain that started at lunch time, held off till we finished our runs. I wasn't quick on the hill but had fun, vids on the way.

Pics time -

We made it look good :)

Alfa V6 engined Lotus :)

Alfa Boxer engined Morris

Just spotted the one Masser -

Great day out until the rain or to be precise hail arrived. Some good stuff there but as always don't assume what you see there are often strange hybrids. The Triumph Herald running a supercharged MX5 running gear and that V8 Mk 1 Escort on a space frame chassis.

But my favourite oddball was that lowered Lotus Elite, just awesome :)

And on the hill, how quick was that Renault 21 Turbo
