I've always enjoyed sneak peeks of our members' garage views when they share photos, so I thought I'd share mine.

Perhaps others can share theirs?

My Maserati shed, taken last summer. But I've made a few changes since then, both to that particular shed and its contents.

I grew up in my dad's large workshop, which was cluttered with all sorts of stuff. We shared the same view that the ultimate workshop would be a place with smooth white floors, that if you lay on a creeper and kicked yourself away from the wall, you would glide across to the opposite side without crashing into anything. I've recently had plans drawn up for this ultimate garage, but till then here's my current playground.
I mostly work outside under the double volume car port where the QP's standing - weather's good enough in SA, except for the occasional thunder storm.

My old man did the 1963 East African Safari in a Fiat 2300 - this is a nice momento.

Interesting collection of toys, Grant.
What's that convertible parked on the QP side?

Feeling slightly inadequate on the garage front, but here are mine. The plan for early next year is to lose the wall between them. I'd really like to knock it all down and start from scratch, but I've got to do the kitchen first.

Here is my man lair, just taken on a single garage up the road as I have run out of room. It full of junk but I do have a rather nifty lift:

What is all this nonsense with garages that have visible floor....

No way am I posting a photo of mine it is shameful! I've just spent a happy three hours turning a repair piece up on the lathe for a job I have to do on Monday... Very therapeutic but upsetting the place is such a mess at the moment. Final straw was the electric cable blowing last week in the rain; You'd think a bit of old 2.5mm T&E would last more than 26 years now!

New cable and fittings have arrived 16mm 3-core Armoured - That'll let me do some serious welding :D

I'm hoping to do something with mine this winter. I've had a bit of a clear out since this pic was taken (including the car) and got some racking etc.
I've got 40 sheets of sterling board ready to line the walls and ceilings but need to do a bit of a re-wire first. Then I've got to decide on a floor covering.

Who knows, maybe I'll gave a Masser in the soon too.
