Good morning all, a very relaxing weekend was had. Local jobs today and my pool/river/white water kayak is getting delivered around lunchtime. Very excited to get it as it is ideal for pool work and improving technique.

Have fun all...

Morning, all. Glorious weather out in the exotic east, so I'm starting the day with a coffee in the garden and catching up on what I missed by sloping off early on Friday.

Happy painting, Phil, and Newton I hope that kayak does not disappoint.

Good morning everyone, yet another day off, this was Le Mans week. Hey ho. New kitchen gets delivered today. Need to do a few job before fitting it though...

Morning all. Back to it after a long weekend. Lots to do. I've already deleted about 80 emails so a productive start already! :D

Of the deliveries expected on Friday only 1 turned up! So you can guarantee there will be cards advising they they were unable to deliver today when no one is in! FFS!

Track day on the national circuit.

But unfortunately, my car only managed 4 laps before emptying it's fluid, overheating, and leaving on a trailer... Worked out at £100 a lap. (face palm emoji)

Mixed emotions about the car as a result.

The truth is, it was only one component that failed. But it's a 20 year old car, so there will be another component next time, and the time after that.

So the options I'm currently weighing up are:
A) get it working again and keep it for sunny days and buy a V6 exige for track days
B) full nut and bolt restomod to make it a new car, singer style

Both options are potentially the same level of investment.

Ask me again next week and I may well have a different opinion.

Exige, all day every day.

Would definitely be on my want list if I could actually get in one.
No, actually I got in fine, it just took 20 minutes to get out. On my hands and knees, much to the merriment of everyone in the Lotus dealership in Maidstone!

I was stood looking at a parked Elise mk1 yesterday. They have shrunk in the last 25 years...or it seemed that way.

Morning chaps. Aching a bit today, not sure if it was the gearbox removal or the boxing last night, a bit of both probably.

Good Morning Sports Maserati.
Ms French got the job with Hutchinson yesterday so feel a lot happier.
A bit more normality shortly.
Stay Safe all.
Nice one phil and congratulations to Ms French. It’s not nice to see a wife or partner in a job they’re not happy with.

Great news Phil, congratulations to Mrs French.

Morning all, failed to get beyond my desk yesterday so will have to do all of that work tomorrow now. Today I’m at St Thomas Hospital servicing the Outdoor gym ahead of the delayed launch next week.

Have fun all…
