2006 Gransport Spyder. Is this just a lowbattery? I was driving a d at the shops this suddenly happened. Gearbox switches fine and all lights work. https://photos.app.goo.gl/buobA8LpyGdP2Kzd9
Just replying for future searchers with such an issue.
As it turns out the problem was "A little pipe we replaced at no extra cost". So I think your assessment was spot on!
Maserati did not give a detailed description, but I will ask when I pick up the car after some other work.
Hi.
So while Maserati is sorting out my gearbox oil leak, they said my rear lower trailing arms need replacement due to perished dust covers on the ball joints.
I thought they were joking when they said I need to replace the whole arm, but research showed this is in fact what is normally done...
Yesterday on a very hot day I drove my Maserati for the first time after 3-4 weeks. Overnight it leaked a lot of oil at the gearbox and my oil level light was on.
The gears shift fine as far as I can tell, but clearly this is a problem. Its a constant drip looks like. The leak seems to come from...
Thank you for the valuable info once again. I am almost done with questions, promise!
My books are complete except for the radio card, but at least the code is written on another card that was in the booklet cover.
1: Where should the toolkit fit and how? In the boot somewhere, but should it be...
I have one further question.
The dealer forgot to put the booklets in the car and now I feel like I need to check up what it should be.
What are all the loose bits that should be with the car? I am not quite sure form my searches what the original delivered bits were.
I have been able to make...
Gave the car a good clean after a rainy few days.
I think the exterior is in very good condition, but the interior shows a little wear here and there.
Small things like rubber tears, cracked seat leather and so on, but still absolutely ecstatic with the car. Its a beautiful and wonderful thing...
Maybe I just reached someone in a good mood, as a subsequent info request did not go answered in any useful way other than "Contact your local dealer".
For record mine is ZAMEB18C000026411. Grigio Touring over Nero with Silver brightex.
I am very very happy with the Spyder. Now that I have had a...
There is something I picked up on that is curious to me.
Does anyone know if the grille badge should have red horizontals?
Photos seem to show some with and some without, but I can't see an intermediate showing that the paint comes off.
So are these just some with and some without the red?

I will definitely post some, including a group photo (1955 British, 1980 German and 2006 Italian sports cars)
Just for information that others also seem to want.
I mailed Maserati regarding production numbers for Gransport Spyder production and received this reply, indicating just how exclusive...
I went to drive the spyder today and it is a wonderful car.
It just feels and looks right. Steering is a bit too light for my liking but so precise. Throttle is light too, but I can get used to both.
There is very little flexing and not really noticable unless on a rough surface. The MCV owner...
Thank you!
That covers a few things in a nutshell.
Luckily my MC Victory owning friend seems to be in the same city when I am going to have a look, so that I will have an experienced opinion.

Hi.
I am in the process of acquiring a Gransport. I joined the US forum for information, but I think even after all the useful comments, the UK situation is more relevant to me as they are much more common and cheaper in the USA.
I am coming from trying to buy a Ferrari (Having been in several...
