    Purely as an investment...

My father bought a brand new silver 131 Mirafiori estate: SLC 316R. My mother hated it after the previous Mk2 and Mk3 Cortina Estates and it was replaced 2 years later with a new Saab 99 - that started his love affair with Saabs; a new 900 turbo every 2 years or so followed by 93s which...

Travelling in London and the tip of the garbage iceberg that is Hackney

He is a hateful little Khant. He appears universally disliked, I cannot fathom his agenda or his motivation to do what he does. I also cannot name a single benefit or positive he has brought to the capital since becoming Mayor.

    Moving it on

The Collecting Cars buyers/audience don't value Maseratis, they never achieve decent prices IMO. Conversely, stick any old Porsche up for auction and the fanboys are there in their droves paying crazy amounts for some very average examples.

Anyone found a good interesting to drive but still comfortable practical daily?

Spec is now very limited for new cars, Stellantis removed most of the options for an unknown reason. Most cars I’ve seen have black interiors, but there is red (very nice), brown and tan. There are also leather and alcantara mixes on some models.

Anyone found a good interesting to drive but still comfortable practical daily?

My ownership experience suggests a Stelvio matches your criteria very well. It’s not wallowy like other SUVs, but it’s also not hard or crashy like I’d imagine a sporty estate would be. It’s a very enjoyable drive, has plenty of go and steers like it shouldn’t for its type. Interior and general...

Anyone found a good interesting to drive but still comfortable practical daily?

Have you driven a Stelvio? I’m 2 years in with mine and I still absolutely love it. It’s immensely comfortable, has all the modern tech needed, drives like a car with great handling and precise steering whilst also being able to carry loads. I’m considering a change to a QV, but the ‘normal’...
