Hi All. Intro and some GranTurismo qs

Thanks All. Not buying until next year, but just looking at options. It seems most facelifted models are going to beyond budget. I am aiming for £50k, but could stretch to £55k for some thing perfect (just had new clutch, facelifted model etc)_; there only seems to be one facelifted car for up...

Hi All. Intro and some GranTurismo qs

My confusion has returned.... A few weeks ago I sat in a GTS auto with 4 exhausts and with small gear change paddles with what felt like velvet on the back. Looking in the classifieds i can see this one which has the 4 exhausts but has bigger paddles...

Exactly. When I found out it was twins, my first thought was to get an Exige V6 and a separate mile mile muncher, but I realised i'd hardly ever get to use the Exige, and the only time my wife would get to be in it would be when we have a babysitter at home.

A diesel SUV is hardly the same as a GTS. A big 4x4 is what i see as the other family car and I'd want it bigger than the Levante.

Hi All. Intro and some GranTurismo qs

At the risk of this becoming a buggy discussion rather than a Maserati discussion, this video shows you how small the buggy goes. It also has a fairly hot lady who leans over a lot. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qaLF7QQGRiU Part of the reason I want the GTS is the awesome looks; I am happy to...

Hi All. Intro and some GranTurismo qs

Appreciate the advice, but I am set on the GTS as long as the seats physically fit, which it sounds like they will. The twin buggy we are looking at folds tiny, and the car seats attach to the chassis. The was a type of buggy which easily fitted in the boot of an Evora 400 with room to spare, so...

Hi All. Intro and some GranTurismo qs

Thanks for all the info. These are all important to consider. I am 5'11 and my wife is 5'9. In terms of getting them in and out, as long as the seats can fit through the gap the weight won't be a problem.

I have thought of another question! Do you guys have independent warranties when outside of the manufacturer's warranty? I think i would want one; warranty direct seem to be around £1.5k for a year.

Great! It makes it a much more viable option.

Hi All. Intro and some GranTurismo qs

Thanks for the detailed response. That is a lot of really useful info. I will drive both and see how I get on. I do want something as "sporty" as possible.... but then I do quite a few miles, am sometimes stuck on the M4 in traffic and my wife will drive it a couple of times a week. I also need...

Hi All. Intro and some GranTurismo qs

I am glad it isn't just me being "special" and that the variants really are that confusing (at least at first). So on re 2012 face lift there is the GTS auto and the GTS MC shift.... and then after the 2012 face lift there is the MC sport (autoshift) and then some with the MC Shift gearbox...

Hi All. Intro and some GranTurismo qs

Ok great. I am away on business quite a lot at the moment, but I'd definately be interested in meeting up to see what it is like to live with. Thanks. That car looks great; a lovely colour. I am not looking to buy until March though, and I would be looking for a 2011 or newer.

Ok, that is reassuring! Is this the experience of others; 50k miles for an MC clutch?
