Permanent trickle charge used to put our Spyder in Apollo 13 mode - bare minimum functions. Normal operation resumed after a drive, then off and on. Long term trickle with some chargers slowly lowers battery voltage, I think.
We now trickle 3 hours per day and no issues.

This may seem a sacrilege to spanner twirlers but we do use the other ends usefully - welded a few 17AF open ends to 19AF ratchets but loath to throw these (and more) in the scrap. Would anyone like some or all of them?
Ha, we make dozens of those for a shop in Avebury. Our local water engineers keep a pair in their vans - swear by them! That’s not the way to hold them, so I am told.
I had a similar problem when I propped the roof part open and all off for a couple of hours to service the spiral clamp motors on the solid cover. No response at all to switch after replaced parts.
Solved it by manually fully closing the hood as per manual then all sprang to life as normal.
