Hi all. I'm looking to buy a 2019/20 Granturismo Sport (mainly for the Skyhook), but I am having real difficulty distinguishing between Sport and MC models. (Most dealers seem to conflate the two.) Any advice on obvious differences would be gratefully received. Many thanks. Paul
You say "mainly for the skyhook" but just so you're aware, 95% of of post 2013 GT sports have skyhook.
Also, I'm pretty sure all sports have 'Sport' on the passenger dash. MCs have 'MC' on oassenger the dash.
The specs do vary a little over the years though, MC stradale, sport, sport MC, sport MCAuto, MC centennial etc... so have a read around on here, as there's quite a few posts about the subject.
Main things that change that may influence what one you want, are...
Gearbox - auto and MC auto (both have a gearstick selector).
MC - shift (has 1andR buttons instead of stick )
Suspension - skyhook electronic, MC handling pack (fixed rate dampers, lower stiffer springs and larger ARB)
Or standard fixed rate.
Brakes - steel or carbon ceramic
Infotainment - upgraded as the years went on.
Advert descriptions can't be trusted as a lot of dealers don't know the difference and websites auto generate them.
Look at pictures and view the cars to be sure what's what.
