What have you done to your Maserati today?

That's tremendous. Well done Roary on your lovely new hat.

My notMaser has been booked in for new exhaust valves. The standard for Aston item is prone to seizing open or closed or turning into a rattly old tin of nails. So I shall be going from these:

When the valve operates - where does the exhaust go?Does it bypass the back boes or just flow through a different chamber?

New front tyres fitted to my 3200 this morning to match the rears, so I have Goodyear Eagles all round now! They were recommended on here by @conaero and they've made a welcome difference. The Continental Contacts that they've replaced - which were recommended by McGrath - seemed to have much stiffer sidewalls and were far less forgiving on the average Isle of Wight B road, where I get most of my fun! Price to do all 4 was just under £600 at National Tyre who are now operated by Halfords. Really easy to book through their website and prompt service through my local branch, so recommended by me.

She took me to Coventry today thence Wellesbourne. RHS only today. Mildly agreeable. Saw 4 Levante and one Blu Oceano Granturismo on the Fosse

Not a Maserati but....
The side badges were letting the rest of the car down so invested in a new pair.
1. Managed to carefully remove the existing with a hairdryer after masking up the position
2. Sraped off the majority of the double sided tape with nails and removed the rest with a cloth and turps and then washed
3. Removed the weathered staining with scratch removal compound, washed again and then polished the area
4. Fit the new badges and removed masking tape
