Finally collected with GC-MC from the storage facility. Here is the beast, emerging from its carcoon.

Love it Ewan. Has to be the best looking VFM cabrio on the market IMO. If I could find similar with a ‘3 vent bonnet’ I would swap the 458 for it and have a happy family

Great shot, looks quite menacing and about to be unleashed. That's quite an old barn those motors are in, do you ever get a problems with field mice/rodents chewing through the carcoon

Not so far!

that's good, I had a couple of my older motors in an old barn of mine a while back and always got the little field mice making home either under the bonnet or in the exhaust pipe, luckily never chewed any wires, tried blocking all gaps in the barn but they always managed to get in, so gave up and just stopped evicting them

Excellent! And what was the verdict from the backseat? Comfortable and not too windy and all other essential seals of approval?

Back seats are plenty big enough for my two, aged 13 and 8, even on this three hour trip. Way better than any other 2 door car. But I'd say it's too windy in the back to have the roof down at motorway speeds.

I bet the local yokels didn't know what had hit them as you drove through the sleepy Cornish villages :D

The batmobile exists!

Bet it was fun down some of those Cornish lanes... so long as nothing came the other way!
