Hi Zep, thanks - I did have the issue where it just wouldnt start at all when hot and replaced the crank sensors & thermostat & that seemed to nobble it. This is different but does sound like it could be worth replacing the carbon canister & purge valve... do you know the product codes at all?

Well... I can say that my GS 'Self Healed' :p After a couple of very short trips with no power I started it up, it revved really high & died - did this twice then on the third time I caught it with the throttle. Got it ticking over and left it to warm up & all is good! I really like the idea of...

My GS after a 2,000+ mile jaunt to the French Alpes (& borrowed for 2 nights by my french mate & taken to Italy) Must say the seats are fine & dandy for long trips + no issues apart from some attention seeking from it with suspension & boot red warning lights - just ignore it & it gets bored and...

GS rad fans on constant - Engine temp sensor?

Thanks both. Yes temp gauge definitely working - does this suggest that the resistor is OK? or shall I just swap out as a starting point? Easy to access?

GS rad fans on constant - Engine temp sensor?

Hi GS rad fan seems to be on constantly - or certainly is on startup cold. Someone said it could be battery related/reset & I do have battery drain issues (so will see if a full charge changes that) But if it is the engine temp sensor - where do I access it & is it possible to test or just...

    Temp too low? Thermostat issue?

Did it? Will take a while to tell if like mine as it just waits until you forget about the problem… or if youre in a rush! Low pressure on tickover… if thats an issue what is the likely cause/fix? Engine has been running fine for the last 9 months
