Hello Brains trust! Help required. I need a replacement 20” front Alloy rim (don’t need tyre) for my newly acquired 2011 GranTurismo S. just ending our Euro trip, which has been just awesome!! But had a high speed blowout, apparently cracked Allot wheel. Now limping back to uk. Pic for wheel...
Hi Brains Trust, 2011 GTS Auto.
Haven’t had the car very long, recently had a re-gas of the air con as it wasn’t feeling that cold. Now nice and cold but even with th fan on full we get a really poor amount of air coming trough the vents.
Anyone know what might cause this and if there is an...
Here is a curly one. Live in Australia, going to be travelling through ESP, FRA, ITA CH in UK registered GT. How do I get a toll pass?? (can have posted to UK adress, but only have AUS phone number and bank account / credit card) thanks in advance
Can anyone recommend a company to transport a Granturismo from Manchester to Hampshire that doesn’t charge like a wounded bull? But still professional, insured etc. many thanks
Thanks Zep. Taken note, particularly around the hoses. The viva tea party isn’t a million miles away from our preliminary itinerary! Looks stunning along the way!
Thanks Scaf. Yep, had considered. Register it in family members name and address then be named driver for period that I’m there. Same way I’ve been driving their cars when I’m back from time to time. Cheers
Thanks Guy, been looking at a few R231 350SL. Lots of overpriced examples that sit on forecourts for months missed a couple of well priced cars, but maybe a GT will itch the scratch more effectively!
Thanks. No pressure to have it sold before we leave. In fact we have another trip pencilled in to the Italian alps for friends birthday ind ec 2024, was going to fly into Milan, but if the car is a beauty then i may keep it for that trip. Just means the family will have to take it out for a...
Haha, yeah! I moved from the UK 21 years ago. Love coming back for visits but have kids (older now), business and property here, couldn’t see me going back permanently. But looking forward to some longer trips as the years progress. Should be back Dec 2024 for a trip to Italy for a friend’s...
Thanks Alan. Very well made points surly taken on board. Yes it’s a bit of a gamble, but that sits ok with me. The trip is booked and paid for!! Itinerary is firming up nicely and some amazing culinary experiences booked to accompany our desires! I understand about having a slush fund for...
Thank you. I’d love to bring one back to Australia, but the rules don’t allow it unless it wasn’t available for sale at Time of
Manufacture in Australia. They are close to $100k over here!!
