Well it sold for £49600... a bargain on the face of it. My heart is a bit gutted I didn't put a bid in.... but my head is glad as I just wasn't reassured about the provenance and without a ppi it was beyond my risk appetite. Oh well...

It always surprises me how unmotivated some sellers seem to be on CC... Being so unresponsive to questions and with an opaque service history... It's the opposite end of the spectrum of trying to generate a bidding frenzy! As much as I'm intrigued by the colour, I am definitely ooooot.

I must say this has got my attention. I haven't seen another in this colour. A part of me is thinking about putting a bid in... but the sensible side of me is very wary about buying a car like this from an auction without a ppi. Out of interest, what do people think is a fair market value...
