The variators where the main expense (a one off upgrade to the later variators at a cost of £3,500). The genuine GTS grill and wheels which were cosmetic. The suspension bushes go QPs on the front arms at relatively low mileage anyway. Its a nice car.

This is my old car. I spent a fortune on it before deciding to buy a Granturismo MC Shift. I can vouch for it being in fantastic condition when I sold and it sounds like more money has been lavished on it since.

As a reference my Caterham tillets fitted beautifully but RS4 seats were just too tight. Its the width around the love handles I am bothered about.

Calling all gen 1 Stradale owners. I am looking at buying a Strad at the moment. I fit the gen 2 seats but how tight are the carbon Gen 1 seats? I am 6 foot and 14.5 stone for refence and my M3 CSL seats were snug.

Does anyone know the part code number for the 4 lambda sensors on a Granturismo? It's replacement time and I know the sensors are approx. £120 each

Its really tempting though Dicky. Do you know what the challenges are? The parts are exact fit so I would imagine the issues relate to disabling the parking sensors and lamps.

Hi After much searching I finally found a quality set of locking nuts that actually fit ie M14 1.5 with a 50mm shaft. They are made by O.Z racing (as in the alloy wheel brand) and can be found on ebay. Carl

Spoke to a technician today and he suggested looking at whether there is an air leak after the MAF sensor. I don't think a leak is going to be easy to trace!
