Yes Alcantara is standard on this model. The attached PDF gives all the specs and is taken directly from the Maserati media pack CD that was provided at the launch of the pre-facelift Quattroporte Sport GT S Automatica. Here are some links to reviews of this model...

I dont think that is a strictly true statement or at least I hope not as mine has the TPMS light on permanently - but as I understand it in the case of the TPMS the MOT check is only valid for vehicles manufactured after 2012. As far as the airbag light I think that is definitely a fail.

I have this exact same wheel on my QP V which is a 2008 pre facelift Sport GT S Automatica (a fairly rare model with just 667 produced worldwide) - it is definitely a genuine Maserati wheel but I don’t know if it was standard (or an option) on any other models though.

Hi Alan, I am coming up from the Portsmouth area, I was planning on going straight up the A3 over the M25 and joining the A245 near Cobham - do you know if the road closures are likely to impact this route?

I realise the main topic is regarding the GT, but I have always been surprised that the door sticker of my 2008 QPV Sport GT S (which has 245/35/20 & 295/30/20) says 29psi for both - which always seemed rather low to me.

Mettalic blue GT on the A3M northbound, accelerating hard passed a 917 Porsche Spyder :)

Thanks Bebs and Zep. My QP is a prefacelift Sports GT S Automatica and came as standard with the 6 pot callipers and the 360mm Brembo dualcast discs. My discs are nearing the end of their life, so this could be an interesting upgrade.

Does this upgrade retain the OE 6 pot callipers or are those different callipers too?

My son just bought a real nice 2005 987 Boxster, great bodywork and interior, 95k miles, new tyres all round, with a hard top, brand new MOT and reasonable history file for £6k. It looks great and drives beautifully, still feels really solid and just feels like a quality car. Such a bargain!
