    Dashboard top /Instruments removal.

Holy ancient thread revival!! I will be dealing with a wrinkled 3200 dash shortly, and am wondering if there is any previous advice on the forum on the best way to smooth out the wrinkles once the dash has been removed. Same issue with the A pillar cover. Heat gun? Water/steam? My 3200 spends...

3200 throttle body - lock down project.

Thanks Mike, that does help. It is also very encouraging that others have gone down the same route with the Volvo option from Dave, and appear to be happy. I have now ordered a Volvo replacement from Dave, and am looking forward to getting back on the road. My old TB had already had a...

3200 throttle body - lock down project.

That sounds great Mike . Is it just plug and play ? Out of interest what happened to your old TB to mean you needed a replacement ? Thanks . Sacha

3200 throttle body - lock down project.

I put myself in the lucky category not having experienced any issues with the throttle body in 9 years of ownership . My luck appears to have run out though . I now need to find a solution as the old one is officially non-repairable . If anyone has a spare working TB for sale please let me know...

3200 throttle body - lock down project.

I am in the process of getting my 3200 back on the road after being laid up for 18 months . unfortunately the throttle body has stopped functioning properly probably due to the prolonged storage and non-use . in 9 years of ownership never had any issues with the throttle body but I guess it was...

    Alfa V6

I have just purchased a 2002 plate166 3.0 24 valve sportronic. Apologies I can't add anything useful to the debate, but I will say that the engine sounds phenomenal, and I haven't noticed anything particularly lacking in the low down grunt department. Like Zagatoes30, I reckon the 3.2 TI is the...

    Latest Addition some 70's Glamour

I owned this between 1996 and 1998. Lovely car, the 3.6 straight six engine was great for wafting around in but gave lots of power when right foot applied purposefully. Happy days.

    Triumph TR7

I have owned a fixed head TR7 for a couple of years now and have really enjoyed using it this summer. It is the "Premium" edition, lots of pics on the internet. It isn't the quickest car. but the cockpit is actually a nice place to be in. The front end springs up when you accelerate...

New British sourced back boxes for Maserati 3200GT

I went the x pipe route without really knowing too much about the pros and cons. It has worked for me though, definitely a nicer sound and feels like it pulls more in each gear. Perhaps straight through would enhance further? Either way, this is a reasonably priced mod and I would happily...

New British sourced back boxes for Maserati 3200GT

I had the same centre section replaced with an x pipe on my 3200 a few months back. My car sailed through the MOT emissions test a few weeks later. I highly recommend this as the engine seems more powerful as a result, and the exhaust sound is nicely enhanced.

Hi Darren. I appreciate you asked about 2 specific alternatives, and distance is not an issue for you, but I recently used McGraths and came away very happy. Not that far away from you either.
