Update: Yesterday received an e-mail that the last of the required parts are now sitting in Bangkok & I can book a time to get the service work carried out FOC. After a year, I should think so.

Sorry Allan, the companies that I mentioned are the (only) dealers. FERMA were the Maserati dealer in Thailand & did nothing about the recall. The dealership has been taken over by Millenium, who are trying to say that the "campaign" is not in force any more.

While you are in there, check all the turbo hoses & clips, from the air filter boxes back to the throttle body - the big Y at the front. A 3200 without turbos is a slug.

Bearings in both fans in mine went last month. Aircon not keeping up with outside temperature & engine running hot - get them checked.

Thanks guys, CD changer was the first (obvious) thing I looked at. Will check out the suggestions & let you know if it continues or was a one-off. I had tanked up 3 hours previously & driven at motorway speeds for about 4 hours, so fuel venting could be a possibility.

Still having some battery drain so switching off at the cut-off switch. A noise in the boot, nearside where I reckon the top of the suspension would be. Sounds like a small electric pump running (& after I had used the cut off). Any ideas? Anybody?
