Both are good stories. I remember getting the occasional lift to school in a brown Beta Coupe with yellow seats. I got the car back on Friday after some winter work, looking tidy and mechanically refreshed

Thanks. I had many Fulvias since the age of 19, and often more than one, for about 18 years. Both 1.3 and 1.6 models, all series 2. Did lots of stuff with them, including racing a 1.6 for five or six seasons, took the same car to the Nurburgring (it was road legal/road driven) did lots of work...

My apologies I believe it is a Cat N. It is the lowest classification, in any event. I have amended.

Strangely we saw another blue QP yesterday around Shenfield, it is notable how infrequently they are spotted

We are selling our 2008 4.2 QP V. It is the ZF auto, in metallic blue with grey interior, the centre console is wood. It has a sunroof, paddles and a Bose stereo. It was a one owner car when we bought it in 2012. It now has 140k miles. We have done many long trips into Europe (including to nine...

Looking for a petrol Ghibli "S" or facelift

I'm not in a particular rush but looking for either an "S" from 2017/18 or a facelift car up to maybe 2020 which has 350 hp. I prefer blue or black, and don't want grey or white. A light colour interior would be preferred but I'm open on that point. I'm unclear whether they all have heated seats...

GranTurismo Alarm Siren - I think I've given up

In case it helps anyone, the siren is on the upper left when you are looking into the wheelarch. If it is just the siren you can avoid removing the whole liner.

    QP V intermittent stereo

Hi, I wonder if there are any ideas on this. The stereo display comes up but there isn't any sound, except on rare occasions when it works fine. It is a 08 plate ZF 4.2. The amp has been replaced (it was a battery drain) but otherwise no other clues! Any suggestions welcome. Thanks

for an anorak fact, the S1 had alloy doors, boot and bonnet. The quarter lights were fixed. S2 cars with steel doors but opening quarter lights. What seems to have happened here is that the S2 quarter lights have been fitted to the alloy doors. I've done that myself in the past and it is the...

Well I am not very good at looking at cars from pictures, if you see what I mean. It is an S3 but the interior has been re-trimmed. It would not have had piping and would have had headrests. The yellow rocker cover is non-original (in the style of the HF cars) but easily fixed of course. The...
