aircon charge points QP IV 3.2 V8 Evoluzione

They are on the right side of the engine bay quite close to the firewall, there is the power steering reservoir close by and partly covering the points. I had to loosen it to get access. If you can wait until sunday evening I can take a better picture of it for you if you can't find it with the...

    CEL - Check Engine 2.8 V6

Yes it can, where did you find it? I would be interested in one but they can't be found anywhere. There is a company in Croatia that can provide a software for laptop that can read the ECU's. I was in a discussion with them a couple of years ago but didn't pursue it because they would have...

    QP IV - Buying Tips

I did all the no things when I bought mine 3.2 evo auto, bought it from Italy unseen and wo PPI. I had some help inspecting the car before I bought it and had a lot of luck I guess as it was a very nice example. I have had some issues with it, the biggest one the tendency to run hot. That now...

Airbag light - QP 3.2 EVO

It hasn't sensors in the seats, only seatbelt tensioners. You can get to those by removing the lower b-post cover. My local garage had a universal reader (Bosch??) that could access the box by choosing the car as Alfa GTV 3.0. The fault can also be the clockspring or the connector to the...

Ghibli 2.8L ABS engine warning light pops on

And most fun! Have you done a polution test, it should give a good indication if the lambdas are gone. Otherwise I would start with the air temp sensor and the water temp sensors and check them with a multimeter as they are much cheaper than the lambda sensor and easier to change. I had same...

    Ciao from Finland!

No, there are relatively few of them around. I was told by my tireshop that there are 3 QP IV V8:s on the road in Finland so mine is number 4. We have pretty high taxation on cars so that is the reason why luxury cars are quite few here. She will get a full treatment to keep her rust free also...

    Ciao from Finland!

Here are some photos of the new purchase. And yes, I managed to get her sideways on my first very short testdrive. 10y old tires didn't have that much grip. Now in for the 60k km service and a cambelt change as it is 8 years since last change. Can't wait to get her on the road.

    Ciao from Finland!

Thanks for the warm welcome. Pictures will come as soon as I get it home. Will problably take a week or two until it is home as it will need some service first (cambelt etc.). With current weather it would be very sideways as we have a couple of inches of fresh snow from yeasterday. It will be...

    Wanted OZ Futura

Looking for a set of wheels for an QP Evoluzione, preferably 18" but 17" would also be ok. The wheels I'm looking for is OZ Futura split rims PCD 5x108. Don't know what offset should be, anyone? Ghibli CUP Speedlines might also fit the bill. Email: ake.wilen@saunalahti.fi BR, Ake

    Ciao from Finland!

I finally dared to pull the trigger a week ago and bought my first ever Maserati from Italy, a QP V8 Evo with Autobox from 1999 with under 60k km on the clock. I haven't seen her yet as she is at the moment coming home on a truck. Needs a cambelt change since last time is 9y ago, a new...
