The contortions she is going through are beyond credulity. And I don’t mean about the font. :)

To my eye (so opinion, not fact) that last panel looks like it has deformed, work hardened and then cracked. But there are clearly a lot of stress concentration points in the pictures above that, as well as corrosion reducing CSA.

Wouldn’t want to make it too easy! The PA6 and PA66 are basically the same. Different production runs might use subtly different material and the mould the reference in for traceability and recycling.

FYI PA66 M20 GF10 etc is the plastic they are moulded from, nothing to do with the colour.

Dennis is long gone so I doubt that would be a factor.

If your motors are working, albeit struggling, it’s pretty easy. All the way back for the front bolts and all the way forward for the rear bolts. The bolts will be at the ends of the runners. Then unplug and struggle to lift it out. Install is, in Haynes manual fashion, the reverse of removal.

For me the difference between a 4.2 and a 4.7 is the torque, you don’t have to work it so hard to make progress. It makes a big difference.

Agree - if the alarm is powered and doors unlock it ain’t completely dead.

Its a shame because Rick's videos are usually quite good, but it is mostly about how hard it is to do the cam timing.
