    2003 MASERATI 4200 CC FOR SALE - £11,950

Much appreciate all the kind messages, thanks. Med blu is such a stunning colour on these cars, especially in the sun (not so much of that up here!). @GeoffCapes @safrane - hard to gauge pricing on these at the best of times, never mind in the current climate! I think I've priced it fairly...

    2003 MASERATI 4200 CC FOR SALE - £11,950

Regretful post (do all impending ex-Maserati owners start with these words…?) but after nearly 4 years of hugely enjoyable ownership, I’ve decided to put my 4200 CC up for sale. The reality of having only driven 7000 miles in 4 years and an imminent house extension means it’s time to let it go...

    F1 pump issue - 4200 CC

Thanks everyone. I've swapped out the relay the morning but still no change, unfortunately. What fuse should I be looking to replace?

    F1 pump issue - 4200 CC

2 days before the 3rd anniversary of completely reliable ownership, my 4200 CC F1 pump seems to have given up :-( Annoying as I was just about to put it away for the winter months. Drove home with no problems the other night but next day it has been showing CC warning light and car not...

    Pirelli win again

Thanks everyone. Mixed weather, colder temps (and the desire not to wear a nappy @outrun) means I've opted for the PS4s and getting them fitted this week. Will report back....

    Pirelli win again

Thanks @conaero - didn't realise they were rebranded Pirellis. Edinburgh streets are bad for potholes and it can be pretty cold, so that makes the decision much easier now!

    Pirelli win again

I'm just about to change all 4 tyres on my 4200, currently shod with Pzero's on the rears and Pilot Sport 3's on the front. Can't decide between Vredstein Ultrac Vortis or Michelin PS4 - the Michelin's cost approx. £100 more in total. The car is off-road between Nov and Mar/Apr but then again...

    Newbie from Edinburgh

Well, I waited, I deliberated and have now plunged myself into the world of Maser ownership - all thanks to @needamaser, who's 4200 I collected yesterday after its annual service from PK Supercars. Delighted (to say the least!) and looking forward to the weekend when I can take it for a proper...

It seems a well sorted example @allandwf. Resisting temptation to buy now, as Stewart sent me details and photo's of his 4200 which looks very tempting. Hopefully arrange to see it soon, so I can make my decision - getting restless!

    Newbie from Edinburgh

Thanks @Needamaser, would you be able to PM me some details of your 4200 and price? I've waited long enough to get here, so if it's the right car, another few weeks doesn't matter!

    Newbie from Edinburgh

@highlander - I knew better than to introduce the 32 vs 42 debate - experience of 2 years lurking :argue1: . Tbh, as much as they have different characteristics, I love them both (I've driven a friend's 4200 spider as well as the recent 3200 test drive and Phil took me out for a spin in his...

    Newbie from Edinburgh

Thanks @allandwf - it's not the dark blue manual one but the mid blue (blu argento?) auto that's also listed on Phil's website. Whatever car I end up with, I'll definitely be using Phil to look after it.

    Newbie from Edinburgh

Hi, about time I introduced myself as I've been registered and lurking on here for around 2 years – not sure if that's some type of record! Picked up lots of great advice and info on the way and I'm finally in a position to enter the highs and lows of Maserati ownership. Doing the usual...
