    Joining the electric car club

The Polestar works for me as a company vehicle and I’m happy to embrace EV’s going forwards but I’ll also have a weekend car at some point. My heart wants a V12 Vantage but my head is saying V8 for now.

Took delivery of my Polestar 2 yesterday and early impressions are it's really good. It's a great looking car IMO, it's got a beefy american muscle car stance about it.

This summer will be the summer I pull my finger out and get a Vantage. I've only been looking at the V12's but a nice N430 has caught my eye. I need to drive both to see what the real world difference is between the 5.0 and 4.7. What are your thoughts on yours?

    Joining the electric car club

My daily journey is a 30 mile round trip into the office with the odd occasional visit to a client and as my daily, I think the move into an EV made absolute sense. Most of my mileage will cost me 3p p/m in electric costs and the plan is to accompany the EV with something V6 for the weekend.

The Polestar is something ridiculous like 350kg heavier than the Tesla and nor does it have pre-warming, which improves battery range.

how are you finding living with an EV? My biggest concern is range with the Polestar, the official range is something like 270 but real world reviews from owners say to expect no more than 210 in reality. That’s fine, as I’ll be charging up at home but the non tesla charging network is nowhere...

    Joining the electric car club

Afternoon fellas, it's been a whiles. I ordered a Polestar 2 a couple of weeks ago, thought it was time to change into an EV for daily driving. It'll be a bit of a difference from the RS7 but the thought of saving myself well over £3k p/a in fuel costs helped taking the plunge.

    Upgrading to a Strad

Cracking read.....I'm back on the 'weekend car hunt' now that I have fulfilled my other financial obligations. The Strad will always be an itch to scratch and I think this year might be the year.

Man I miss that car! When are you going to arrange a meet up so that I can see/hear the car again.

Christian Lewis Performance Cars - Open Day - 28th October

Ahhh, the passenger seat motor...I had had the same problem and Ed spent a good half day getting the motor out, cleaning/re-soldering and then getting it working again. Guess these things will eventually end up needing to be replaced again.

    One last road trip

Looks amazing. I've driven around them neck of the woods a few times now but only in the daily and wish I'd done it in the GS. God I miss having the GS

Ahhh, this is my Med Blu GS which you have bought!! Congratulations on buying her, I'm sure she will give you as much satisfaction as she gave me whilst I owned her. A real head turner as the Blu really does pop out in the sun and the larini X pipe made her sound awesome. You won't believe me if...

Future Investment - Gransport or 3200 GT???

From experience, although GS values have increased, they are more than offset by regular maintenance and other costs. Unless you are going to tuck it away for the next 10 years with very minimal use.
