Alignment settings on my 2011 GT

those are good settings. you've dialed a good bit of toe-in (0.05°) instead of toe-out (spec is -0.08° IIRC) which will help your inner tire wear massively with no downsides (at least in my opinion). oh, and your before numbers were terrible (one side toed in, the other toed out a LOT) so...

    System Failure warning messages

don't worry, those are all the same error, and while it might not be your problem, can be caused by low battery.

    Make me see sense

this literally made me laugh out loud! and coincidentally, it's the exact right criteria I'd say. if you need back seats, the GranTurismo is where it's at. if you don't, the V12V is one of the most awesome cars, nearly bar none. had one in triple digits in a 35mph stretch of twisties down in...

    Broken coil spring

EXACTLY! haha, I literally made sure it was always perpendicular to me and that I kept my hands away from it. while it did work, it's HIGHLY not advised! ps. the "correct" spring compressors looked equally scary to me, so be careful with those too

Dull metal to metal sound going over bumps.....?

tie rod ends go between the tie rod and the hub holder. drop links go between the roll bar and the control arm. the former are a cone with a ball and bolt at 90°, the latter is almost a little S-shaped piece with two bumps connected by a tiny rod.

    Broken coil spring

or you can do what I did... ps. don't do what I did, it worked, but I was scared $#!+less to even touch it [emoji12]

granturismo passenger seat access to easy entry micro switch ? help

if yours is working and you'd like it NOT to, I posted the fuse to pull on the US forum. if it's not working and you WANT it to, it's way more likely you need to do the battery reset dance detailed in several posts. if you really do need to get to the switch, I'm sure we can dig up the answer.

Alignment settings on my 2011 GT

interesting cat, your shop must've overridden the "approved" ranges, because those are very much not to official (aka terrible) specs. oh, and total toe does not measure which direction the wheels point, it's the angle between the two wheels. positive means "in", negative means "out". the...

Alignment settings on my 2011 GT

actually, yes! his front toe is perfect now, though we all know +0.05° (very slight toe IN) is perfect for the car but way out of Maserati specs (-0.7° toe OUT — a tire munching angle). that said you could use a little less camber on the fronts and a little more caster, though maybe you were at...

    Grancabrio orange indicators/reflectors

a side note -- if you take apart the headlight housing, it's trivial to swap the reflector. that said, it's pretty **** hard to open them up, and then you have to seal them back up really really well because moisture in there is certain death to the ballast.

Unleashing more power of 4.7 engine ?

uhhh, given that they couldn't even be bothered to make the graph mathematically correct (HP & Torque cross in the wrong place!) I'd steer waaaayyy clear of that tune, the company that makes it, and anyone who sells it! and good lord, Giorgio, that thing is AAAAWWWWESOME! ps. anyone use...

    Replacing Gran Turismo Headlight Ballast

they're all the same flaw, even through the many cosmetic changes. it's probably relatively rare that water works its way into the headlight housing, but if it does... it's inevitably going to end up in the ballast. to the OP -- that's awesome that cleaning it fixed it...

    Replacing Gran Turismo Headlight Ballast

but isn't that nice red rubber gasket so good at containing the water INSIDE the ballast? [emoji23] if it's just the connector that's corroded, you might be able to just clean it. if you've got water in the ballast though, you're going to have to make sure to seal the leak in the light first...

Anyone toyed with the idea of Push Start Button

I've thought about this a bunch too. wouldn't the obvious solution be to just leave the key in permanently (probably without most of the shell) and wire up a secondary switch and interrupt mechanism? sure, you'd lose the steering wheel lock, but who cares? my corvette (with its in-pocket fob...

    Replacing Gran Turismo Headlight Ballast

technically trivial, just a lot of tight spots. remove the wheel, the front wheel well splash guard (wheelhouse), there's a connector (or two depending on which side of the car) on the back of the headlight, and three hard to get to bolts, then the headlight slide back through the wheel well...
