FWIW my X431 Pro Mini told me yesterday that I don’t have an ABS module in my 2002 Spyder. My subscription has expired so maybe I need an upgrade but I was a bit surprised. I agree it’s a good bit of kit otherwise, used it to adjust my PIS and some other stuff.

You’ll achieve that with an upgrade to the Focals, they make a huge difference. That said, you’ll probably notice a lot of rattles, resonance and booming if you push the volume up unless you do a lot of work with sound deadening etc. Even without that extra work, the upgrade is still well worth it.

You probably know this, but just for clarity the MOT doesn’t measure NOx. It seems hard to get an actual measurement of your car unless I am missing something.

Yes, I think that’s all it is. But if you don’t get it right you can end up with high frequency distortion, on the edge of the audible range (at least to my old ears). It can make listening to music quite a strain, quite uncomfortable in my case.

As Julian says, there are plenty of replacement speakers that will fit. I would look at the Focal range as well. The front speakers have a separate tweeter near the top of the door. You need to decide whether to replace the tweeter as well, with an appropriate change to the crossover...

The real change for EV costs will be when the Govt stops subsiding the fuel for them so heavily. Or, more correctly, starts charging an equivalent to fuel duty. Fuel duty is on a litre of petrol is about a third of the total cost of the fuel (or like a 50% markup). Try the EV cost calculations...

Sadly not. Early 4200’s like mine have NO emissions about double the limit, at least according to Maserati’s records which is what the ULEZ takes as gospel.

FWIW my 2002 Spyder has exactly this kind of fuel cap as well. I quite like it, I thought they were all like that. It needs a good clean from time to time though.

Or repair the one you have? I know that might not be possible but there are a lot of strong solutions for repairing plastic these days. A little different, but I repaired one of my sun visors that broke at the hinge. Just needed some dismantling, some epoxy and some patience.
