Guys, I have agreed a price for a part exchange against my next car but would rather it went to a forum member at the price. Would be a shame for a trader to get it cheap and then mark it up a few grand.

Totally agree. A pretty major repair and good that the car is now captured on the forum to help protect any potential or future buyers.

I've found my next car but may keep the Maser as well, depends on the wife. The £16k offer has gone as the guy has since found another car, oh well. I know December isn't the right month to be selling a Mas but I'll give it a go.

I picked up a few of these from Aldi a couple of months ago and still have one spare. It's the same as the C-Tek that the main dealers sell for close to £200. I'd let it go to a fellow forum member for £30 delivered (by courier). Otherwise I'll keep it as a spare.

Hard to avoid the time wasters and dreamers but frustrating nonetheless. People turn up to just have a look around and get a ride but have no intention, or cannot afford, to actually buy one. A bit like those folk who go and look at houses well outside of their budget and waste everyone's time.
