Dicky hi, thanks for the comment, there is a good rear entertainment car out there at the moment in Europe, is it easy or possible to neatly remove the central screen and wire in two separate screens which could be stored behind the seats? I am sure I could organise the wiring, but I suppose it...

Has nobody got any first hand experience with the two different models of Infotainment system I ask about on the facelift QP? Thank you for any comments how ever radical !

Yes my mistake, sorry ! Cannot think why I said that, perhaps it was early on in my search and I got confused. I now know better ! One further question thought, regarding the infotainment system, on the facelift some systems have the Maserati badge, and some the Bose badge, apart from the...

Hi again everybody, sorry I cannot believe it is almost a year since I last posted - Aaagh ! I am still on the chase and hope my project will come to fruition soon. I am looking at a 4.7 S, one question that niggles, as I had a bad experience with a previous car, are all the gadgets on the...

Dave hi, I believe you own an Exec GT, is there a major difference between the Exec and the Sport GT versions? Obviously there are the upgraded brakes, and the gear paddles, and a slightly different trim, but in essence they are pretty similar I suppose. Are the gear paddles good, fun...

Hi Mr K, just another question! I have now found two QP's, both Sports GT and both similar KM on the clock, one 2008 pre-facelift with a ZF box the other a 2008 post facelift, with the dual shift. I think the extra bits are similar. The second facelift car is about 9k€ more, is it worth it...

Thanks Mr K, one thing though which I am not sure about (amongst many !!) is which group of models, year or type make up the facelift models. Obviously it is the result of a slight tidy up, but are there only certain models of the QP concerned, or years of manufacture or serial numbers etc...

Thanks Dave it is always reassuring to have some real details, as I said before though the period of 2007 and 2008 seems to be a sort of interim period when they introduced the new box, but not the rest of the changes they did in 2009. Please correct me if I am wrong as looking in from outside...

One thing I need to think about is the "shelf life" of the car. Now that these high performance cars are so wired, is there a moment in their life, say when they are 15 years old when it just becomes economically un-viable to run one without running up huge technical bills, or are they...

I have had a look at the specs on the link but cannot see the 2007/8 year band, as I thought that was when the ZF box was introduced. I know the Sport GT has the gear change paddles as standard, but I thought I had read somewhere else on the web that in 2008 only the ZF box was available on all...

Thank you for your warm welcome and Mr K for your valuable comment on the variator issue, obviously as a newbie I had no idea of this. I had thought though that the ZF box was preferable to the dry sump duo select option, as they seemed to chew their way through clutches rapidly and the gear...

Hi everybody, I am new to the forum and am currently hoping to buy a QP GT Sport from 2008. Fingers crossed but it does depend on a major business deal coming off so as the horizontally challenged lady has not sung yet we will have to see. In any case I hope one day or another to be a proud QP...
