    Shock/Damper Bump Stop

Well, the Porsche bump stop is "Factory back ordered, No ETA" I guess I will have to bit the bullet on order the expensive Maserati one...

    Shock/Damper Bump Stop

You are a gentleman and a scholar! I ordered it through Eurospares, I will update. On a side note, while taking my daughter to her BB game, hit a pothole and blew out the tire. Thankfully I had made spare!

    Shock/Damper Bump Stop

There is no way I am putting a Porsche part on my Maserati . £22.43 for Porsche vs £85.03 for Maserati, that is better! How did you find that? Thank you sir!

    Shock/Damper Bump Stop

Dealership wanted $250+! I will reach out to FD on Monday. If push comes to shove, I will order from it from Eurospares. I was kind of hoping someone had an alternate/cheaper option being that this is something that may have been used throughout the auto world...

    Shock/Damper Bump Stop

I'm in need of a front shock/damper bump stop. The part number is 189998. Eurospares lists them but they are a bit pricey for what they are especially with shipping to the US. I was wondering if anyone had another source for them. Below are pictures I was able to pull from the internet.

Gransport Rear Control Arm Ball joint advice

I may be able to help here because I just did boot replacement. I have some posts up on ML. To answer your question, yes, there is enough flex to detach the upper ball joint without dropping subframe and removing arm completely. I used the below video as a guide.

    Tie Rod Rebuild Parts

I read that thread. It appears that the BMW boot/cover they are pointing to is for the ball joint. The ones I am looking for are for the tie rods to protect the SKF G15C bearing.

    Tie Rod Rebuild Parts

Gents. I want to rebuild my OEM tie rods since I am going to replace the control arm ball joint boots. From my research, I found that the tie-rod bearing is an SKF GE15C, but what about the boots/covers for them. My research does not point me to a clear option for those. It would also be...

    Rear Shock/Damper Question

Gents, posted this on ML. My rear shock/damper is leaking. I want to get a good used one. The part number on my MY 02 is 182778. The ones that I am finding on eBay with that part number do not look so good. Found some decent looking ones with part number 197912 which looks like they are for...

    Small coolant leak

I also had a small coolant leak from the water pump o ring. Took the advise of a very knowledgeable member on ML and tried one tablet. To my surprise, it worked! That was over 3 years ago.

Spare Tire / Space Saver Question

Thank you also! I already have the boot floor with hump. I was fortunate enough to acquire it a few years back when I decided to go the Merc alternative with custom adapter. Going to post my Merc alternative on ML (just locking to get what I have into it) unless someone on this side of the...

Spare Tire / Space Saver Question

I am a bit embarrassed! You gents are all correct, the stock wheel bolts are 22mm, hence the 22mm socket in the kit. I forgot I have 15mm spacers that came with 17mm wheel bolts. Sorry about that confusion! All that being said and to complete my OEM kit, all I need to now is to figure out...

Spare Tire / Space Saver Question

Got it! Still questioning though how they expect you to remove the affected tire without supplying you with a 17mm socket...

Spare Tire / Space Saver Question

Thanks Zep! Any idea what the length would be? On another note, just realized that in the OEM kit they supply a 22mm socket to install their "rare" lugs, what what they expect you to use to remove the 17mm lugs that are on all the wheels?

Spare Tire / Space Saver Question

Longer bolts, bigger head (22mm)? Hence the 22mm socket? Not willing to pay scuderia price for replacement studs. I am running 15mm spacers that already have longer studs. Going to try a test fit! If all is good, will post my Merc opinion on ML for sale.
