This literally took me two seconds by putting in damaged Ghibli into the eBay search bar.. literally the first two results. 18k for Ghibli with no repairs, absolutely basic spec car was a 34k insurance payout bottom of the rung Maserati and £13k for one that is absolutely battered, damaged...

Let me correct myself... A straight car with same spec and mileage are all 40kish on autotrader at the moment.. simple search of Maserati Ghibli with parameters 2016, under 10k mileage, carbon will bring that up. Work required is about 2k and then whatever needed for a good wash and tidy up...

The original Maserati batteries are rubbish. Many different forums have quotes from people talking about the battery dying after car not being started for a little while or having to use trickle chargers all the time. My battery on a 2016 would die if I left the car for more then two days...

And the point about diesels... they come with a sports mode which opens up the exhaust and gives it that throaty sound petrol heads love, but can also operate in a more purring normal mode. And the fact that you can get over 30mpg driving a 16 plate Maserati for me in anycase is a joy
