They won't give you details of what was done but will tell you when it had a service.

Well, must say this, having bought and sold cars, for a living, for several years, some stealers of certain car makes will tell you more then others. Yes, the Data protection Act, popped up frequently. But some, tell you everything, and some even send you service copies, with things blanked out.
I found Vauxhall Dealers, to be the best of the bread and butter cars, and VW, stupidly ignorant. Yet Audi, had no issues!
Like Dicky says, not many Maserati dealers, so its on a system, somewhere. And doesn't the Mot [dvla], log any defects found?

Don't get the data protection bit.........You're asking if the car was serviced not who owned it and their address.......

Maserati refused to give me any data apart from confirming stuff had been done over the phone [always stated DPA] eventualy I did get it from a 'friend' at a dealers including print outs of £20k worth of work...but it took 3 years to get it all!
