See there are three QP GTS currently for sale on AT all under 25k. Just strikes me that as one of the best QP models out there they are such great value....That's it they are good examples of course.....Makes then one at 29k look over priced.....

First one at 22995 - Think this has been for sale a while but at a different dealer. Interesting colour for the steering wheel against the rest of the interior....Not a fan.

Another silver one but at Lotus dealer. This car was on their website for a day a few weeks ago and then disappeared only to return now. Maybe they had a few issues to sort before selling. They also think its an Alfa in the advert :)

This one I like very much.....Lovely colour....

Very nice. I really wanted to get into a 4.7 QP GTS before buying the XJL but I couldn't quite justify the cost difference. The XJL Supersport I bought was £6-£8k cheaper than these 3. It is a newer gen car which feels much more modern, faster, more efficient, drives really well, comfortable, practical and sounds good as well. I real sleeper.

If the QP's were the same price as the XJL Supersport I would likely have gone QP. I just didn't the need to pay more for it though. Tough call and a shame but I'm not unhappy at all with the XJL at all. I actually drove past home past night and carried on driving for a bit with some cracking tunes on the Bowers & Wilkins audio system playing along nicely ;)

They are slightly different cars though in the way you drive them as the QP has tons less torque and is all about mid to top end. The SC XJL is a real nice engine. Tons of low down torque and great mid wit decent top. You also find yourself quite happy to pootle along in hushed comfort. The XJL feels half a ton lighter than the QP was a big thing for me.

Still hanker after a 4.7 QP GTS though!

I could not live with the interior colours of any of them.

I'd like a nice 2011 or 2012 GTS in Grey, Green or BP, with a crema interior and 35,000 miles!

The first ones the bargain. Even after changing or recovering the steering wheel, and repainting the wheels to the correct dark chrome. That said, the third one looks the best, just as you say Andy.

Not many QP GTS with light interiors.... Most seem to be black with alcantara in suiting with the sporting nature maybe.....There was one with brown interior a while back. I like black if it has a light piping .... PLus the black on a Maserati tends to wear better than the lighter colours.
