The 3200 spare is a different type to the calapsable 4200/GS, for a start it's a traditional skinny spacesaver fully inflated when stored. The boot space being different to the 4200/GS, with more space, with no rear gearbox/diff more traditional front gearbox and rear diff.
Are you after a spare wheel for your 3200 Dave?
Of course my solution using the Merc SL wheel will still fit the 3200 like the 4200/GS, but your boot floor is not made for the shape to store it.

I've got a 3200 space saver in the car, but wont be home until Thursday to check. If you haven't got the info by then I'll get it then.

I'm still trying to track one down, is there no group solution/ purchase of a suitable rim, tyre and hub adaptor ?
I've had 3 un repairable side wall punctures in 30 + years of driving. I'd just like the security of a spare !
(Never had a puncture on a motorcycle!)

Apart from spending £££ on the genuine spare, the Merc SL is the only affordable alternative with the correct calapsable tyre that will fit perfectly in the boot with the genuine humpted boot floor.
All details are as the link posted above using a bolted hub adapter. Complete cost was £300 with new boot floor....would be £1,200 if you bought all from Maserati.

You could probably deflate the 3200 wheel and it would fit in the 4200 boot floor.

Incidentally, I now have purchased on behalf of the forum, a 3200 and a collapsable 4200 spacesaver wheels that are available to forum members to borrow for overseas trips.

A deposit may be required if you are not that know to us.

Matt, how intrusive is the spare wheel into the boot area as I do tend to use all the boot space?

Any photos of the humped floor with something next to it to show scale?

I've not seen it in the flesh, but *to me* it looks like it makes the boot very awkward. It's not the greatest as is!
