3200 'bulb out' warning light.... but with no bulbs out?

Afternoon all,

The past week or so, I've noticed everytime I put my lights on, the 'bulb out' warning light comes on - this being one of the few things i thought, I may actually be able to fix.... but I've inspected the lights with a helpful girlfriend pressing the various nobs and buttons, and all lights work absolutely fine? I have checked several times to be sure, as I didn't want to embarrass myself with an unnecessary post if the light was just fulfilling it's roll, but I can confirm it's not - so the warning light is coming on in error?

I've had a little search on here and couldn't find any one suffering with the same problem, but just wondered if anyone had any ideas? Will be popping over to see Marios in the next few weeks so can have they guys there take a look, but wanted to see if anyone had any thoughts/suggestions first?

Cheers -

Ben

I had similar experience but second check round found it was one of the rear number plate lights which wasn't obvious first look round as there two lights - just a suggestion! If it is be careful removing plastic cover as very brittle.

Have you fitted any LED lights as the current drawn is so low they trip the failed bulb warning.

Yep I had the same and it was one of the two rear number plate lights. A loose connection inside and a gently tap made it come on again. I will be ****** if I can get the rusted screws out so haven't bothered replacing!

Aah, thanks Gents!

Novice alert; didn't even think to check the number plate lights!! That will be on the immediate agenda post work - thanks for the heads up! All lights as standard Saphrane; had the bulbs in the high level brake light replaced at Autoshield a month or two back but it was fine after that - thinking it's most likely the number plate lights after reading this - failing that, I'll no doubt be back on here to troubleshoot!

Cheers -
