Hi Guys,
Some advice on replacing the fuel filter please.
Are there any special instructions or tools required to undo the connections to the fuel filter?
I can see at the top there is an inlet fitting that appears to be plastic? do I remove that first or just undo the fitting below that connects to the filter?
Thanks
Ross

From memory you squeeze the plastic fitting and it just pops off. Leave brass fitting in filter. At other end undue nut nearest pipe but again leave brass fitting in filter. Shouldn’t be too much petrol leakage but worth putting rags below. You only need to loosen bracket not remove entirely and filter can then be slid out.
Once filter out you need to swap brass connectors onto new filter making sure you match flow and outlet arrows to old filter.
I put old filter in vice and spanner on filter hex shape and then used spanner to undo brass fittings. You will realise why this isn’t an instu job to remove and swap brass fittings
Good luck
Ps don’t forget to depressurise system using valves on each fuel rail.

Thank's for the advice Steve,
I did not think about depressurizing the system first, that could have been a surprise I did not want!
