Its just failed.
Upon opening it up, the micorswitch has fallen off the circuit board. Also the rubber cover has a hole in it but I found that DL are doing them for £6:

Now I can solder the old one back on but I don't think its any good, does anyone know the RS catalogue number to get a replacement?
I do have the unused spare key so I should be alright for another 7 years, but I would like to get it repaired.
