4200 / GS Rear Parking Sensor

Does anyone know if this is the same as a 4200 / GS Rear Parking Sensor??

Lots of after sale kits have been fitted to 4200s so hard to tell. My first 4200 had factory units which were not round in the centre but trimmed off

Doesn't look like the ones in the Eurospares diagram, nor the one I bought to replace one of mine (which is yet to be fitted)

I am just hunting for a rear sensor the same as OE factory fit. Rather than pay over £100 for an OE, I am trying to find the actual manufacturer of the part..?? So this is not the same as the factory item then..??

So when I was shopping I found a couple of challenges. In theory it's a BMW part:
The front of it looks like this:

That is the sensor portion is not round, but cut off top and bottom

According to Eurospares the connector on the rear is angled like this:

So it's a bit of a puzzle.

Like I said, I've not got mine fitted yet, so not sure which is right

It is angled, as the connector plug has to come in from the side in to the socket..!!

Yes, I mean either pure round, or two sides squared off (cut off's), I think mine are round, but I will check..!!

Had a look at mine and it has what I call cut-off's, so maybe the 2nd in your list could be the right type Mr. C. I would have to see them side by side to be certain..!!

As the car is up for sale now, I think Autoshield will replace it with one from Eurospares for speed, but for future reference I have asked them to compare the two when they take the old one off..!!
