Help needed guys as New Zealand tell me that the 4200 only meets euro 3 safety and it needs to be euro 4.
They have seen my Dvla log book and have all the info.
Anyone any ideas or know of anyone shipping one to NZ ?
Phil.

Yes definitely Euro 3 Phil,Its too old for Euro 4..
But these are EU engine emission regs not safety related stuff...

Cheers guys been communicating with the AA of NZ and can't praise them enough.
They allow 200 vehicles of special interest to come in every year exempt.
This years quota full but I can ship and store at my workplace and apply in December.
So all in all a good result.
I have to pay tax @15% to get her in.
Good news is only on what I purchased her for and not the market value.
Emissions was one of there concerns which is funny for a country full of V8's.

The 4200 does meet Euro 4 emissions regs as I recently bought the German zones tag which lasts the lifetime of the vehicle. This is done on a reg check. I don't know anything about crash test safety though.

What is it they are asking for Phil?

If you were in Greece, i could find someone who would name a euro3 car, as euro 4. So simple is that. That's why we are having all these problems now.. corruption..
