If I thought he'd let it go for that I'd be interested but if it goes for sub £7k I'll bet it's his mate who wins it. What do u reckon? Could have 2 Maseratis? Always cynical about eBay.

Was thinking the same 5k to 6k then maybe worth a punt...Anything over that then no....The only issue I have is that its wrapped. You just don't now what the state of the original paint is like...Plus not a fan of green so when it needed to come off thats the colour I would be left with....Buy hey at under 6k it would be a OK buy...

Andy, you read my mind. Green is shocking, I'd leave the wrap on. Would be worth a call see if he'd stop the auction now for £6k. No chance

No chance as its on PH for over 9k....

Maybe an offer of 7 or 8 but with miles and risk factor it's not worth it..

I don't like green either, but reckon it must be very hard to sell a "wrapped" car. He'd do better to unwrap it....people know it's green anyway!

....yeah....but is his paintwork less than perfect...is the wrap disguising something.........either that or a poor understanding of the market and type of people who might consider buying this car.....as ever...know your market!

this has been punted around on various websites for a while now. I dont think its wrapped cos its green or the paint work is bad, I think its cos the body is rusted.
Also, the MOT is up this month, who knows whats to be done to get it through.

Surely any buyer is going to think the worst of the paintwork anyway though, which is why I thought it would be better not to have it wrapped.

Scratches, poor quality respray etc etc would be hidden by a wrap, but wouldn't rust show through a wrap as bubbles/unevenness?

If it was me I would have put some picks up of it before the wrap just to show I wasn't hiding anything...

He may not Frank but when selling the car I always do my utmost to show the car in its good like and leave nothing unturned so the buyer has every bit of info so that they really don't have to ask many..if any...questions.....Lots of questions for this one me thinks.
