We have a 2002 Spyder CV with a 4.2L. It seems the A/C cools somewhat when the car is at idle but gets warmer as the RPMs increase. Has anyone come across this problem before. The system pressures are with in specification not sure were to go from here. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance

Condenser? Im not that au-fait with the system but it sounds like the air con system can't cope with the throughput at higher rpms.

When you switch the AC on you should hear an audible "click" from the compressor. This is the electro clutch engaging the drive pulley to start the compressor.
Normally low refrigerant pressure (LP switch open)will prevent the clutch engaging.
Low pressure could be due to loss of refrigerant overtime through the various o rings & seals or a stone damaged condenser infron of the radiator.

Try the Click test, no click then a system check us required. Remember refrigerant is a gas at atmospheric pressure, so you will not "see a leak.
