Fibreglass wings on an Aston? FFS! In that case why is it so heavy and why do they cost so much? They seem to be even worse than I thought.

You know the DBS wings, bonnet bumper and boot lid are all carbon fibre. The new Aston is adding carbon side panels to the mix too. I know because I saw it today. I also saw the new Porsche 918 in bare carbon fibre Long with some of the F150 (although a lot less of this) panels...

I thought that carbon fibre was basically black and the photo clearly shows a white residue similar to fibre glass. Tbh, I also thought that Aston wings were aluminium like a Maser. It doesn't matter to me though, I'll never be buying one.

I have a mate technical authoring at Gaydon for a few years now,those Astons and Jags so he says are rubbish...They have a Maser Quattroporte over there for tech analysis...guess what car they all want to take home for the weekend

007 --->Thats so magnetic mines can't be attached to the car and also when it flips over it turns into a boat.
