Having had his adverts kicked off ebay, I was contacted by the 'seller' direct today regarding the R8 'for sale':
"Hi,
I would like to start by thanking you for your interest in regards to my car.
I don't know much about cars but this was my brother's car who recently passed away so I know it has always been properly maintained.
The car is in excellent condition, immaculate inside and out it looks, feels and drives like new, 82,500 miles, no damage, no accidents, no scratches, garage kept, non-smoker, no pets inside, 2 keys, V5, logbook, service book and all handbooks. The interior is also in perfect shape. The engine is also in great condition, no problem with it.The car comes with full service history by the dealership, being serviced every year.
The car is HPI Clear which means that the car has never been involved in any accidents and free of any finance or loan.
The price is £17,995, no additional fees.
