Alarm beeps on and off

An interesting one I just came across that I will share. If anyone wants to put there alarm into DUTCH mode (no beeps) here is the procedure:

  1. Put the key in and turn to MAR (ignition on).
  2. Turn on hazards.
  3. Press and hold the rear foglight button.
  4. Turn it to OFF -> MAR -> OFF very quickly
  5. Release the rear foglight button.
  6. You should hear 4 slow quiet beeps. This says you're in programming mode.
  7. Press the rear foglight button 4 times (for Holland setting - no beeps), it beeps each time you press it.
  8. Put the key back in to MAR within 10 secs.
  9. The system will beep again quietly 4 times (or the number you set it to).
  10. Then take the key out and turn the hazards off. It should be set.
The Dutch setting is 4 presses of the fog light, you can re-instate the beep by changing back to the UK setting with 5 presses.
Apparently it will be ever so slightly louder when the alarm goes off too (114 vs 110 dB!)
It works! My neighbours love you!

There is no specific setting for Spain so use EEC (1 beep). A table summaries the different ones here:

.

This is for Alfa Romeos but same applies to Maserati AFAIK.

So it's:
  • 1 beep for Europe
  • 2 beeps for GB
  • 3 beeps for Belgium
  • 4 beeps for Holland
  • 5 beeps for the Rest of the World
Ok
Thanks for the information, I will try the Dutch format, which means OCD mode
OFF -> MAR -> OFF -> MAR -> OFF -> MAR -> OFF -> MAR -> OFF -> MAR -> OFF -> MAR -> = OCD mode

Hello, good evening, I want to ask about the alarm, I am not able to connect it.
When I turn off the car ignition it emits 4 beeps, I don't know what they mean.
At the top there are two buttons that when pressed emit yellow flashes, I imagine they are alarms.
I have done the steps you mentioned but:
1-you must have the lights on AUTO or OFF
2-how the steps are carried out, explain it in a better way.

The Maserait Granturismo does not have a hidden menu that allows you to manipulate more things inside its memory that are not activated.

Does anyone know+
Thanks, I'm from Spain, SOME SPANISH ON THE WEBSITE OR FORUM
