Alfa’s QV badge will soon be exclusive to Giulia and above.

It's just a marketing ploy now. It's a badge that indicates a "sporty" version, a bit like Abarth is now. Just leave it on the hot version of any model, I can't see the point of making it exclusive to certain models.

Personally like the idea of making the Alfa quadrifoglio more exclusive.

They certainly have the performance based models now compared to the past decade or two.

As it should be.....It should be reserves for proper performance cars in the range. They need a BMW M or Mercedes AMG type range that people revere and recognise as the top sporting model. Glad to see it is going back to what it should be rather than a badge on a 1.2 litre Mito...

Doesn't matter what you do with the badge if the underlying product is S***e or doesn't move you. You have to get the foundations right before you start to build the halo. I think they are concentrating at the wrong end of things. When were Alfa at their best - light, balanced and characterful cars. I am not sure this new generation will be anywhere near that. They talk about the DNA, but seem to have 'butched' it up to compete with the German manufacturers.

Time will tell, but I am not hopeful.

cloverleaf has been watered down...it should be put on the hot versions not a 1.4 Mito!!
the days when that badge meant something.......
