I'm with you, marmite car, love it or loathe it. I've read Quentin Wilson since the early 80s, why hasn't he been able to retire? ;) Got fed up with him pushing Daimler Darts year on year off.

I absolutely love the SZ but not nearly as keen on the RZ. They are supposed to be epic drivers cars and a SZ is on my 'hitlist' both for that reason and the fact they were only ever LHD and it would annoy me to have a LHD version of a car available on RHD but having a great LHD car for my Euro motoring would be great.

Loved the coupe from the first day it was released, would like to own one one day, but increasingly unlikely as the prices have risen so much.
The RZ though....err nah.

Agree with you all, love the coupe but the convertible just doesn't do it for me

All SZ / RZ were LHD, Autodelta converted an SZ to RHD but swore they would never do another.

The SZ is all about the way it drives, the front end just goes where you point although the back is not always as obedient. The shell is rigid which means they are generally hard but develop insane amounts of grip they are true drivers cars and make the most of relatively low power.

The RZ on the other hand is flimsy, has no rigidness and is all about looking good, it does however make the most of the V6 howl when the roof is down.

Price for this looks about right but really not my thing.

Never warmed to the RZ to be honest...Just doesn't look right....The SZ on the other hand is the business....Remember stood for ages just starring at the SZ on the motor show stand when Alfa showed it for the first time.......

Recommend a visit to Joe Macari to see it of anyone has time. An amazing place with some very rare cars including a la ferrari, and 250 spider and a ghibli spider. Had the place to myself yesterday.

Marmite indeed; I'd have it in a heartbeat if I could afford it, I do want a rag top for those couple of days a year when you want but don't have a motorbike, I wouldn't expect handling and so I wouldn't drive it on the edge because of that. Generally I don't get drop tops at all but this is a stunner and all about show.

Like them a lot!

A guy from the Alfa club had both the SZ and RZ both of which were great although I personally prefer the SZ but then I generally do prefer Coupe's
