I've been listening to Beyond the Grid podcasts today. Very interesting, I always admired Gerhard Berger as a driver but, in those pre-internet days, I never knew anything much about him beyond that. It's great to hear what a character he was - he never did any fitness training whatsoever. His original sponsorship deal with Red Bull was a handshake over a beer. Simple times.

Nice blokes don't necessarily make fast drivers, just look at Hamilton... He's very fast...so I've heard...

Britain will have it's own Formula One championship using Morris Minors/Wolsely Vipers/Armstrong Siddelys/Daimlers once the name licensing issues have been agreed with their foreign owners. There will be and initial ten rounds. They will be held in England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Isle of Man, Jersey, Guernsey and other 'flyaways' to be announced once suitable circuits have been found in former colonies that the UK still possess. Only white English males with dashing 'taches and a sturdy jaw may enter. All prizes will be handed out by Boris Johnson, Nigel Farage and Jacob Rees-Mogg.

And once again the world will take notice of Britain...
