Looks like Dave's Spyder has found a new home now.

Well done and lets hope its new owner pops on here to say hi sometime.

Yes I sold it this morning, it's a club member who I met at the AGM this summer at Prescott Hill Climb. He's picking it up in a week or two and I've already pointed him towards here.

Welcome MrPea, I take it you are the new owner of said Spyder.

Enjoy and don't be a stranger, there are loads of events and meets to get the most out of your new purchase.

What part of the world are you from?

Thanks for the welcome, folks. It was an unfortunate incident of losing a 2002 Spyder CC that meant I needed a new one, and the timing was perfect for the GS and I couldn't resist!

I'm in Oxfordshire and there are some wonderful places to play round here. I may have met some of you at the likes of Silverstone, Donington and Prescott, but I'm pretty useless at being a regular checking up on the forum etc. so please feel free to drop me PM's to get me on board for local things.

Welcome...hopefully you did not loose your last car down in the West country...well all recall a blue one last autumn that was in a ditch.

Enjoy the GS and here's hoping for a nice summer with the roof down.

If I can't get the sun here, then I'll have to head to Europe! My favourite thing to do with the roof down is night time country roads with clear, dark starry skies!

No, it wasn't that blue one. The old flame was black, and ended very close to home with a tank-slapper :(.

Shipping to Perth WA cost me about $AUD 1500 about 2 years ago, but the compliance and taxes were an extra $AUD 20,000!

Good luck with the new GS Spyder Mr Pea.

Sorry to see her go, but enjoying the GTS Auto as a daily driver (well driving it most days). It's fantastic.

Also, I know there has been lots of discussion on here about the merits/negs of selling a car on SOR, but have to say I would not hesitate to do it again with our Dicky.
Everything handled smoothly with great communication throughout and got the sale price I wanted.

Thanks, Dave! She's now in my garage awaiting some fine weather! Great that you're able to use the GTS so often.

I agree with you on Dicky's service!

Thanks! I'll put up a few more from that photo-shoot another time. Can't wait for the right day for giving the new GS a shoot... now just to decide on the location.
BTW, that pic was taken at Bicester Heritage Centre - it's an awesome place! There are some events coming up, so I'll post them somewhere here.
