Hello everyone, yesterday bought myself a silver 2000 3200 GT 45k miles.manual.
Totally new to Maserati and just wondering if any members living in N.Ireland who own or have owned a 3200 would be interested in having a look at it and basically talking me through the dos and donts of owning this type of car.Live in Carrickfergus, not far from Belfast.

Indeed, Hi Sinky, already replied to your pm, am currently Maserless, Greg is a long way from you too, not sure we ever had a 3200 owner on here from NI but plenty of info and people to help out, nfm (Nigel) is the nearest to you but he owns a 4200,

All the best

Welcome Sinky. As Frank says I have a 4200 and don't have any knowledge of 3200 tbh. Sounds like a great car.

There were very few 3200 sold new in NI, plus I know of two written off some years ago, not seen a 3200 in the flesh in NI though

Low kms...quite impressive. Welcome Sinky.

Off topic but...In greece there are a lot of car dealers who adjust the cluster, so that it shows less kms run... Is it only greek?

Welcome from the poor South, Sinky!

Thankfully it is harder to indulge in 'mileage recalibration' on a QP, the process involves de-soldering and re-soldering chips it seems.

Usually you can check both maintenance book and MOT mileage figures ( going back to 2006/7?) to see if they correlate...so harder to do now.

optic view for me...a car of 30k and 90 have significant differences in shape (leather seats, pedals etc etc)..all these small things..

I've seen other cars with 150K on them.....no discernible wear to seats, leather etc.........others with 40K look as if they have 200K on them!

My Chrysler has 150,000 miles on it.

It's better than new!

I always vary my hand position on the steering wheel, never press the side of the pedals, or rest on hand on the shift lever!

Sad? Yes!
