Yes indeed.
He might be trading behind his sons under a new name, home work required for sure to ensure no connection and this is a totally no connection company using the same premises only, Williams nearly had me but I fortunately walked away!

After travelling down to the dealership to potentially buy a Porsche from Andrew Williams "I'm sorry its sold since I spoke to you yesterday, I've received an offer of £20K for the 928GTS overnight from Australia, so I can't accept the advertised sticker price of £18K unfortunately, HOWEVER you can have it for the same offer of £20K if you like"
I walked.
On my way home got a mate to enquire about the Porsche..."yes the 928GTS is still or sale"...

That doesn't make any sense at all, no wonder he was in financial difficulties if he was turning customers away

He knew I was coming down to see the car, and the car was still for sale at that point.
He just thought that I would pay an additional £2K on the top of the sticker price with me being serious, travelling a long way, including an overnight hotel before seeing him in the morning.
In the end though, after this fell through, bought the Maser so all ended well!
A few years later actually saw the same 928GTS for sale at an independent Porsche specialist for £35K, and I couldn't help but enquire. It transpired that who ever did buy it, ended up spending a fortunate fixing the problems it had, and was for sale on commission with them at such a high price to try and recoup his money!

Don't know anything about this individual car, but value wise, it's the same price as my newer QP GTS and I know which is the better drive.

£21,950 or near offer, as would prefer to sell than put it into storage until next spring. I plan to take it to Emblems Open Day thus Saturday, should anyone fancy a look.

Make me a good offer and she's yours Dave.

Come on Dave/Eb step up. I should think we are looking at 21k are we not? My 20k offer a while back didn't make it so somewhere inbetween has to tickle Ewan into submission.

Ewans' is cracking, extremely aluring and desirable, and wouldn't I like to take her out for a good spanking when he's looking the other way. However I'm taken already.

Are we talking about QPs? :)
