Wouldn't knock it as it didn't do Lambo any harm.

But Lamborghini is a completely different sector to Alfa were the cars would probably be more closely related to Audi, VW than Lamborghini, and having had several German company cars, including A4's and A6's they do tend to be a little sterile at best

See it the other way...better build quality, better engines than the current range but still Italian style. Alfa has lost its way .... I have had a few but wouldn't buy any of the current range.

Only until people realise that they're rebadged VW's - who knows what tricks lie in the ECU??? - sorry sir we'll need to knock 300bhp off your car to meet emission regs now that we've been found out - residual value? - your feedback is important to us, thankyou....

To be honest once the American government had finished with them I would doubt they would have money to buy a corner shop let alone Alfa.
